| Danny Reidy the Northern Territorian who now calls Brisbane home loves every minute of sprintcar racing.
He is one of the most laid back characters you could meet and wrings every inch out of life.
At the tender age of 23, why wouldn’t you?
Such is the torment that Reidy has endured by placing himself amongst the best in the business running with the World Series Sprintcars over the past four seasons that we quickly forget that he has a lot of maturing as a driver still to come.
Reidy unfairly gets constantly compared to the likes of the Tatnell’s, Dumesny’s and Farr’s of the trail when in reality he has years of experience behind the wheel to be gathered before we should even consider placing that sort of comparison on the pilot of the Queensland Speedway Spares / SDA Plumbing Eagle.
The talent that Reidy possesses is however quickly starting to show and his results are noteworthy.
He won the final of the SRA of Victoria round at this venue in March of '07 leading home Matthew Reed, Steven Lines and David Murcott in the process.
He backed that up with overall winner of the Easter Sprintcar Trail 2007 and this year a 2nd and 3rd in WSS rounds.
Stephen Melville (Melvie) Queensland Speedway Spares team crew chief describes Danny as “He is as relaxed as they come. I would say he is the most relaxed person I have ever met.”
“When he is up in the seat he as good as there is. It is just a matter of keeping him focused!”
“Danny enjoys to dog fight more than he does just to sit back and be patient.” “He likes to get up and get racing.”
